Problem

In a circle, ABAB is a chord and points CC and DD lie on the same side of ABAB. Give a reason why ∠ACB=∠ADB\angle ACB = \angle ADB.
Intuitive explanation

Both angles are inscribed angles subtending the same arc ABAB from the same side of the chord. The key insight is that an inscribed angle's measure depends only on the arc it intercepts, not on where the vertex sits along the arc on the same side. Since CC and DD both "see" arc ABAB from identical positions relative to the circle, they measure the same angle.
