Problem

Suppose dim⁡V>1\dim V > 1 and dim⁡W>1\dim W > 1. Prove that {v⊗w:(v,w)∈V×W}\{v \otimes w : (v, w) \in V \times W\} is not a subspace of V⊗WV \otimes W. This exercise implies that if dim⁡V>1\dim V > 1 and dim⁡W>1\dim W > 1, then {v⊗w:(v,w)∈V×W}≠V⊗W\{v \otimes w : (v, w) \in V \times W\} \neq V \otimes W.
