Look up the table of ``known'' mesons compiled by M.\ Roos in Rev.\ Mod.\ Phys.\ 35, 314 (1963), and compare the current Particle Data Booklet to determine which of the 1963 mesons have stood the test of time. (Some of the names have been changed, so you will have to work from other properties, such as mass, charge, strangeness, etc.)
