Problem

Let f:R→Rf:\mathbb R\to\mathbb R be defined by f(x)=2x−3f(x)=2x-3 and let g:R→Rg:\mathbb R\to\mathbb R be defined by g(x)=x3g(x)=x^{3}. (i) Find (g∘f)(x)(g\circ f)(x). (ii) Determine (g∘f)−1(x)(g\circ f)^{-1}(x). (iii) Verify your result by showing that ((g∘f)−1∘(g∘f))(x)=x\bigl((g\circ f)^{-1}\circ(g\circ f)\bigr)(x)=x for all xx in the domain of ff.
