Problem

Calculate the power required to compress, up to a pressure of: 5 kg/cm25 \mathrm{~kg} / \mathrm{cm}^{2} a volume of 10 m3/h10 \mathrm{~m}^{3} / \mathrm{h} of air initially taken at the pressure of 760 mm of Hg and 27∘C27^{\circ} \mathrm{C}, in the following cases: a) When the compression is isothermal. b) When the compression is adiabatic. Take: γ=1,4&1 atm=1 kg/cm2\gamma=1,4 \& 1 \text{ atm}=1 \mathrm{~kg} / \mathrm{cm}^{2}
