Problem

The acceleration of the Moon can be found based on kinematic considerations, knowing that the average radius of its orbit is 385,000 km, and the period of its revolution around the Earth is 27.3 days. Compare the acceleration value obtained in this way with the acceleration created in lunar orbit by Earth's gravity. The radius of the Earth is 6370 km, the acceleration of gravity on its surface is 9.8 m/sec².
