Higgs production *
The Higgs boson is a proposed elementary particle that should be experimentally detected in a few years, assuming it exists. One strategy for producing it in a high-energy particle accelerator is to collide protons and antiprotons together. Taking the rest energy of a proton (and antiproton) to be about 1\,GeV, and assuming that the rest energy of the Higgs is about 100\,GeV, how much energy is required to produce the Higgs if:
(a) A moving proton collides with a stationary antiproton?
(b) A proton and antiproton have equal and opposite momenta?
