Problem

**The exponent η\eta.** By combining the result of Problem 10.3 with an appropriate renormalization prescription, show that the leading term in γ(λ)\gamma(\lambda) in ϕ4\phi^4 theory is γ=λ212(4π)4.\gamma = \frac{\lambda^2}{12(4\pi)^4}. Generalize this result to the O(N)O(N)-symmetric ϕ4\phi^4 theory to derive Eq. (13.47). Compute the leading-order (ϵ2\epsilon^2) contribution to η\eta.
