Problem

Zassenhaus Lemma. Let HH and KK be subgroups of a group GG. Suppose also that H∗H^* and K∗K^* are normal subgroups of HH and KK respectively. Then (a) H∗(H∩K∗)H^*(H \cap K^*) is a normal subgroup of H∗(H∩K)H^*(H \cap K). (b) K∗(H∗∩K)K^*(H^* \cap K) is a normal subgroup of K∗(H∩K)K^*(H \cap K). (c) H∗(H∩K)/H∗(H∩K∗)≅K∗(H∩K)/K∗(H∗∩K)≅(H∩K)/(H∗∩K)(H∩K∗)H^*(H \cap K)/H^*(H \cap K^*) \cong K^*(H \cap K)/K^*(H^* \cap K) \cong (H \cap K)/(H^* \cap K)(H \cap K^*).
