Problem

Line segments MNMN, NPNP and PQPQ lie consecutively on a straight line. Given: MN=6 cmMN = 6\,\text{cm} and NP=PQ=6 cmNP = PQ = 6\,\text{cm}. Answer the following. a. (i) Write the lengths of NPNP and PQPQ. b. (ii) List two different pairs of equal segments from the information given. c. (iii) Using the equalities in part (ii), give a brief proof to conclude that MN=PQMN = PQ.
