Problem

Two thin lenses are aligned on a common axis and separated by 10 cm. The first lens (closest to the object) is converging with focal length 8.0 cm; the second lens is converging with focal length 12 cm. A 1.5 cm-tall object is placed 20 cm in front of the first lens. Determine the height of the final image formed by the two-lens system, including the sign to indicate orientation.
