Problem

(a) For positive elliptic forms of discriminant Δ=−D\Delta = -D, verify that the smallest value of DD for which there are at least two inequivalent forms of discriminant −D-D is D=12D = 12. (b) If we add the requirement that all forms under consideration are primitive, then what is the smallest DD?
