Problem

Let {Xk}\{X_k\}, 1≤k≤n1 \leq k \leq n, be a sequence of random variables, all with mean μ\mu and variance σ2\sigma^2, and Yk=Xk∗Y_k = X^*_k be their standardized versions. Let SnS_n and TnT_n be the sum of the XkX_k and YkY_k, and Sn∗S^*_n and Tn∗T^*_n their standardized version. Show that Sn∗=Tn∗=Tn/nS^*_n = T^*_n = T_n/\sqrt{n}.
