Problem

The electric potential of some configuration is given by the expression V(r)=Ae−λrr,V(\mathbf{r}) = A\frac{e^{-\lambda r}}{r}, where AA and λ\lambda are constants. Find the electric field E(r)\mathbf{E}(\mathbf{r}), the charge density ρ(r)\rho(\mathbf{r}), and the total charge QQ. [Answer:ρ=ϵ0A(4πδ3(r)−λ2e−λr/r)][Answer: \rho = \epsilon_0 A(4\pi\delta^3(\mathbf{r}) - \lambda^2 e^{-\lambda r}/r)]
