Problem

Find the Laurent series for f(z)=1z4(1−z)2f(z) = \dfrac{1}{z^4(1-z)^2} that involves powers of zz and is valid for ∣z∣>1|z| > 1. Hint: 1(1−1z)2=z2(1−z)2\dfrac{1}{\left(1-\frac{1}{z}\right)^2} = \dfrac{z^2}{(1-z)^2}.
