Problem

Suppose there exists a sequence of functions {gn}n=1∞\{g_n\}_{n=1}^\infty uniformly converging to 00 on AA. Now suppose we have a sequence of functions {fn}n=1∞\{f_n\}_{n=1}^\infty and a function ff on AA such that ∣fn(x)−f(x)∣≤gn(x)\left|f_n(x) - f(x)\right| \leq g_n(x) for all x∈Ax \in A. Show that {fn}n=1∞\{f_n\}_{n=1}^\infty converges uniformly to ff on AA.
