Problem

a. An ideal gas kept at constant pressure has a volume of 150 cm3150\,\mathrm{cm^{3}} at 280 K280\,\mathrm K and 195 cm3195\,\mathrm{cm^{3}} at 364 K364\,\mathrm K. Using these data, calculate the constant value of VT\dfrac{V}{T} for this sample (in cm3 K−1\mathrm{cm^{3}\,K^{-1}}). b. Predict the temperature (in K) at which the volume of the gas would be 120 cm3120\,\mathrm{cm^{3}} at the same pressure.
