Problem

Let I⊂RI \subset \mathbb{R} be an interval and f:I→Rf : I \to \mathbb{R} a function. Suppose that for each c∈Ic \in I, there exist a,b∈Ra, b \in \mathbb{R} with a>0a > 0 such that f(x)≥ax+bf(x) \geq ax + b for all x∈Ix \in I and f(c)=ac+bf(c) = ac + b. Show that ff is strictly increasing.
