Problem

Let f(x):=x+2x2sin⁡(1/x)f(x) \mathrel{\mathop:}= x + 2x^2 \sin(1/x) for x≠0x \neq 0 and f(0):=0f(0) \mathrel{\mathop:}= 0. Show that ff is differentiable at all xx, that f′(0)>0f'(0) > 0, but that ff is not invertible on any open interval containing the origin.
