Problem

Flint glass exhibits dispersion: its index is n=1.66n=1.66 for violet light (wavelength 400 nm\text{wavelength }400\,\text{nm}) and n=1.62n=1.62 for red light (700 nm700\,\text{nm}). For each wavelength, calculate the critical angle when light exits flint glass into air. Then find the difference between the two critical angles (violet minus red) in degrees.
