A Wheatstone bridge has arms P=100 ΩP = 100\,\Omega, Q=100 ΩQ = 100\,\Omega, R=200 ΩR = 200\,\Omega, and S=250 ΩS = 250\,\Omega. The bridge is unbalanced. Calculate the resistance of a shunt resistor required to balance the bridge and identify across which arm (RR or SS) it must be connected.
