Problem

Suppose a hydrogen atom is in the state ψ=A(2ψ100+ψ200+3ψ211)\psi = A(2\psi_{100} + \psi_{200} + \sqrt{3}\psi_{211}), where AA is the normalization constant. (a) Find AA. (b) If you measured the energy, what values might you get, and with what probabilities? (c) If you measured L2L^2, what values might you get, and with what probabilities?
