Problem

Given a covering space action of a group GG on a path-connected, locally path-connected space XX, then each subgroup H⊂GH \subset G determines a composition of covering spaces X→X/H→X/GX \to X/H \to X/G. Show: ((a)) Every path-connected covering space between XX and X/GX/G is isomorphic to X/HX/H for some subgroup H⊂GH \subset G. ((b)) Two such covering spaces X/H1X/H_1 and X/H2X/H_2 of X/GX/G are isomorphic iff H1H_1 and H2H_2 are conjugate subgroups of GG. ((c)) The covering space X/H→X/GX/H \to X/G is normal iff HH is a normal subgroup of GG, in which case the group of deck transformations of this cover is G/HG/H.
