Problem

Determine the angles whose points on the unit circle have xx–coordinate −32-\dfrac{\sqrt3}{2}. a. (i) List all such angles in the interval 0≤θ<2π0\leq\theta<2\pi. b. (ii) For any one of these angles, compute the remaining five trigonometric ratios exactly. c. (iii) Verify for your chosen angle that sec⁡θ=1cos⁡θ\sec \theta=\dfrac{1}{\cos \theta} and comment on the sign of sec⁡θ\sec \theta in its quadrant.
