Problem

Let FF be a field and VV the space of n×1n \times 1 matrices over FF. Suppose AA is an invertible, symmetric n×nn \times n matrix over FF and that ff is the bilinear form on VV defined by f(X,Y)=XtAYf(X, Y) = X^t A Y. Let PP be an invertible n×nn \times n matrix over FF and B\mathfrak{B} the basis for VV consisting of the columns of PP. Show that the basis B′\mathfrak{B}' of Exercise 13 consists of the columns of the matrix A−1(Pt)−1A^{-1}(P^t)^{-1}.
