Problem

(a) Find the hermitian conjugates of xx, ii, and d/dxd/dx. (b) Show that (Q^R^)†=R^†Q^†(\hat{Q}\hat{R})^\dagger = \hat{R}^\dagger\hat{Q}^\dagger (note the reversed order), (Q^+R^)†=Q^†+R^†(\hat{Q} + \hat{R})^\dagger = \hat{Q}^\dagger + \hat{R}^\dagger, and (cQ^)†=c∗Q^†(c\hat{Q})^\dagger = c^*\hat{Q}^\dagger for a complex number cc. (c) Construct the hermitian conjugate of a+a_+ (Equation 2.48).
