Problem

A particle scatters from a potential that produces only ss-wave and pp-wave phase shifts, with δ0=30∘\delta_0 = 30^\circ and δ1=10∘\delta_1 = 10^\circ (all other δl=0\delta_l = 0). (a) Compute the total cross section. (b) Compute the differential cross section dσ/dΩd\sigma/d\Omega at θ=90∘\theta = 90^\circ.
