Let the function f:R→Rf : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R} be defined by f(x)=x2+1f(x)=x^{2}+1. a. (i) Define a one–one function and an onto function. b. (ii) Show that ff is neither one–one nor onto when considered on R\mathbb{R} as domain and codomain. c. (iii) Determine the largest subset A⊂RA \subset \mathbb{R} for which the restriction f∣A:A→f(A)f|_{A} : A \to f(A) is invertible, and state the corresponding range.
