Problem

A mixture of phosphorus(III) chloride, phosphorus(V) chloride and chlorine in a sealed flask with a total volume of 2 dm32 \text{ dm}^3 was analysed and found to contain 1.2 mol of PCl3\text{PCl}_3, 2.5 mol of PCl5\text{PCl}_5 and 0.2 mol of Cl2\text{Cl}_2. The equation for the reaction is as follows: PCl3(g)+Cl2(g)⇌PCl5(g)\text{PCl}_3(\text{g}) + \text{Cl}_2(\text{g}) \rightleftharpoons \text{PCl}_5(\text{g})
