Problem

Suppose f:R→Rf : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R} is continuously differentiable and f′(x)>0f'(x) > 0 for all xx. Show that ff is invertible on the interval J=f(R)J = f(\mathbb{R}), the inverse is continuously differentiable, and (f−1)′(y)>0(f^{-1})'(y) > 0 for all y∈f(R)y \in f(\mathbb{R}).
