Problem

Let gg be a non-singular bilinear form on a finite-dimensional vector space VV. Suppose TT is an invertible linear operator on VV and that ff is the bilinear form on VV given by f(α,β)=g(α,Tβ)f(\alpha, \beta) = g(\alpha, T\beta). If UU is a linear operator on VV, find necessary and sufficient conditions for UU to preserve ff.
