Problem

Show that the scattering amplitude in the Born approximation can be written as f(θ)=−m2πℏ2∫ei(k′−k)⋅rV(r) d3rf(\theta) = -\frac{m}{2\pi\hbar^2}\int e^{i(\mathbf{k}' - \mathbf{k})\cdot\mathbf{r}} V(\mathbf{r})\,d^3r where k\mathbf{k} is the incident wave vector and k′\mathbf{k}' is the scattered wave vector, with ∣k∣=∣k′∣=k|\mathbf{k}| = |\mathbf{k}'| = k. For a spherically symmetric potential, reduce this to a one-dimensional integral.
