Problem

Let XX and YY be Banach spaces. Suppose that L∈C1(X,L(Y,Y))L \in C^1(X, \mathcal{L}(Y, Y)), and for some x0∈Xx_0 \in X, L(x0)L(x_0) has an inverse in L(Y,Y)\mathcal{L}(Y, Y). Prove that there is a neighborhood U⊂XU \subset X of x0x_0 on which L(x)−1L(x)^{-1} is defined and L−1∈C1(U,L(Y,Y))L^{-1} \in C^1(U, \mathcal{L}(Y, Y)).
