Consider the function f:R→Rf: \mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R} defined by f(x)=x3−3xf(x)=x^{3}-3x. a. (i) Define an injective function and a surjective function. b. (ii) Examine ff on its given domain and codomain. Determine, with justification, whether ff is injective and whether it is surjective. c. (iii) State which of the two properties fails (or both fail) for ff and explain why this prevents ff from being invertible on R\mathbb{R}.
