Problem

A bag contains balls of three different colours: red, green and blue. When one ball is drawn at random, the probability of getting a red ball is 0.40.4 and the probability of getting a green ball is 0.350.35. (i) Calculate the probability of drawing a blue ball. (ii) What type of event is "drawing a ball that is not blue"? Justify your answer. (iii) Find the probability of the event described in part (ii) and verify that it satisfies the complement rule.
