Problem

Ethanol, C2H5OH\text{C}_2\text{H}_5\text{OH} , can be made from ethene, C2H4\text{C}_2\text{H}_4 , using the following reaction: C2H4(g)+H2O(g)→C2H5OH(g)\text{C}_2\text{H}_4(\text{g}) + \text{H}_2\text{O}(\text{g}) \rightarrow \text{C}_2\text{H}_5\text{OH}(\text{g}) It was found that 10.0 g of ethene produced 14.6 g of ethanol. Calculate the percentage yield.
