Consider the function y=sinx.
a. (i) Sketch one continuous graph of y=sinx for the interval −π≤x≤3π. Mark clearly all x-intercepts, maximum and minimum points.
b. (ii) Using the sketch, verify geometrically that sin(−x)=−sinx for all real x.
c. (iii) From your graph identify the intervals, within −π≤x≤3π, in which the function is increasing and those in which it is decreasing.
