Problem

Vesta orbits the Sun at a distance 2.362 AU and has an albedo of 0.38 (unusually reflective for an asteroid). (a) Estimate Vesta's blackbody temperature, assuming that the temperature is uniform across the asteroid's surface. (b) If Vesta's radius is 250 km, how much energy does it radiate from its surface every second?
