Problem

Particles execute Brownian motion in a fluid bounded on one side by a plane wall; particles incident on the wall ``adhere'' to it. Determine the probability that a particle which is at a distance x0x_0 from the wall at time t=0t = 0 will have adhered to it after a time tt.
