A hollow spherical shell is made of copper. Its external diameter is 18 cm. The shell is required to weigh 2.5 kg2.5\,\text{kg}. The density of copper is 8.8 g/cm38.8\,\text{g/cm}^3. a. (i) Find the thickness of the shell, correct to the nearest millimetre. b. (ii) Calculate the total surface area of copper exposed (outer and inner surfaces) correct to the nearest square centimetre.
