Problem

Two external points PP and QQ lie on the same straight line through the centre OO of a circle, with QQ being farther from OO than PP. The distance OPOP is 15 cm15\,\text{cm}, and the tangent drawn from PP to the circle is 9 cm9\,\text{cm} long. The tangent drawn from QQ to the same circle is 12 cm12\,\text{cm} long. (i) Find the radius of the circle. (ii) Determine the distance OQOQ. (iii) Hence calculate the length PQPQ. c. (iii) Calculate the length PQPQ.
