(Blackbody temperature doubling)
Answer all parts in order.
a. (i) State the Stefan–Boltzmann law for the total power emitted per unit area of a perfect blackbody.
b. (ii) A blackbody is heated so that its absolute temperature becomes exactly double while its surface characteristics remain unchanged. Without carrying out a numerical calculation, explain qualitatively and quantitatively how its power emission per unit area will change.
