Problem

A person walks back and forth along a straight corridor. The position-time graph consists of three segments: 00 to 10 s10\,\text{s} (0 m0\,\text{m} to 20 m20\,\text{m}), 10 s10\,\text{s} to 20 s20\,\text{s} (rest at 20 m20\,\text{m}), and 20 s20\,\text{s} to 30 s30\,\text{s} (20 m20\,\text{m} to 0 m0\,\text{m}). Calculate the ratio of the Average Speed to the magnitude of the Average Velocity over the entire 30 s30\,\text{s} interval.
