Problem

For the function w=f(z)=u+ivw = f(z) = u + iv, find uu and vv as functions of xx and yy. Sketch the graphs in the (x,y)(x, y) plane of the images of u=const.u = \text{const.} and v=const.v = \text{const.} for several values of uu and several values of vv. The curves u=const.u = \text{const.} should be orthogonal to the curves v=const.v = \text{const.} w=z−iz+iw = \frac{z-i}{z+i}
