Problem

Suppose {fk}k∈Γ\{f_k\}_{k\in\Gamma} is a family in a normed vector space such that ∑k∈Γfk\sum_{k\in\Gamma} f_k converges. Prove that if c∈Fc \in \mathbf{F}, then ∑k∈Γ(cfk)\sum_{k\in\Gamma}(c f_k) converges and ∑k∈Γ(cfk)=c∑k∈Γfk.\sum_{k\in\Gamma}(c f_k) = c \sum_{k\in\Gamma} f_k.
