By equating the pressure of an ideal gas of electrons to the pressure of a degenerate electron gas, determine a condition for the electrons to be degenerate, and compare it with the condition of Eq. (16.6). Use the exact expression (Eq. 16.12) for the electron degeneracy pressure.
