Problem

Consider the equation y′=y1/3xy' = y^{1/3} x. a) Show that for the initial condition y(1)=1y(1) = 1, Picard's theorem applies. Find an α>0\alpha > 0, MM, LL, and hh that would work in the proof. b) Show that for the initial condition y(1)=0y(1) = 0, Picard's theorem does not apply. c) Find a solution for y(1)=0y(1) = 0 anyway.
