Problem

Let L ⁣og⁡\mathcal{L}\!\operatorname{og} be a branch of the logarithm on GG, and let H:={L ⁣og⁡(z):z∈G}H := \{\mathcal{L}\!\operatorname{og}(z) : z \in G\}, the image of L ⁣og⁡\mathcal{L}\!\operatorname{og}. Show that L ⁣og⁡:G→H\mathcal{L}\!\operatorname{og} : G \to H is a bijection whose inverse map is f(z):H→Gf(z) : H \to G given by f(z)=exp⁡(z)f(z) = \exp(z) (i.e., ff is the exponential function restricted to HH).
