Problem

A solenoid 20 cm20\,\text{cm} long has 400400 turns and carries a current of 2 A2\,\text{A}. A single circular coil of radius 4 cm4\,\text{cm} also carries the same current of 2 A2\,\text{A}. Assume μ0=4π×10−7 T m A−1\mu_0 = 4\pi \times 10^{-7}\,\text{T\,m\,A}^{-1}. a. (i) Calculate the magnetic field inside the solenoid. b. (ii) Calculate the magnetic field at the centre of the circular coil. c. (iii) Which of the two magnetic fields obtained above is stronger?
