Problem

Let ff be the bilinear form defined in Exercise 6, and let V2V_2 be the subspace of VV consisting of all matrices AA such that trace (A)=0\text{trace}\,(A) = 0 and A∗=−AA^* = -A (A∗A^* is the conjugate transpose of AA). Denote by f2f_2 the restriction of ff to V2V_2. Show that f2f_2 is negative definite, i.e., that f2(A,A)<0f_2(A, A) < 0 for each non-zero AA in V2V_2.
